Children in Year 6 are given the opportunity to take part in a residential school journey. Through the experience of going on a residential school journey, children develop independence and the self-confidence to tackle new and challenging skills.
In June, Year 6 have the opportunity to stay at PGL Activity Centre in Swindon, where the school has been taking children for many years. During the five day journey children will take part in a range of exciting outdoor activities. These include climbing, abseiling, zip wire, trapezium, orienteering, archery as well as initiative type activities. The activities are challenging, fun and all promote team building. On school journey children learn to be independent as well as how to be part of a team and come back having grown up a great deal!
